This is the most common financing model in the world of Android and mostly acccepted by its users. If you do not feel well with advertisements, you can purchase the application “AlarmDroid Pro” or “RemindDroid Ad Remover” in the Android Market to remove any advertisement in AlarmDroid or RemindDroid. Alternatively, you can send some money via Paypal (see the button below). In the latter case, I will send you a donation code which can be entered after pressing the “I donated” button. Please understand that it may take some hours to register your donation since I’m doing this by hand.

To hard to understand to complex
It would be nice if you would show HR:MIN until next alarm. This makes it easy to see at a glance if the alarm is set to go off tomorrow morning, or if it is incorrectly set for PM.
Also it would be nice if the user could set a preference that would hide the icon on the status bar if alarm isn’t within X hours. Having an alarm set for tomorrow morning in 22 hours isn’t really relevant until the alarm time gets closer.

I assume you speak English as a second language. Just FYI, it’s “bought” instead of “buyed.”

Also, in the app, you have text that says, “Repeat Alarm – Repeat this alarm on selected weekdays.”
In English, weekdays actually means Monday through Friday. “Days of the week” is what you want, or just “days” if there isn’t enough space.
Will donate via Paypal. Do i get than the Pro version by mail?
Well donated but when pressing the ‘I donated’ botton in AlarmDRoid, entering the requested info i get wrong email
Hi Thomas, first let me say that I have to insert all donations manually into the database. Therefore it can take a few hours to “activate” the donation. The problem is, you donated “only” 0.50 EUR. I rejected this donation, because Paypal takes 0.36 EUR of it as charge. I get only the residual 0.14 EUR. So it’s rather donation for Paypal than for me. But the more important thing is, that it wouldn’t be fair to give you the Pro-Version for only 0.50 EUR, while the people who purchased it in the Market paid 1.49 EUR for it and most people who made a Paypal donation paid even 3.00 EUR for it (in average). I talked to someone who paid more than the application in the Market costs, and he would definitely feel fooled if you could get the Pro-Version without paying at least the Market prize. Sorry!! :-/
I bought the pro version on the android market but cant get the “I donated” to work. I have put in both my gmail (the accont the market uses) and my regular mail that paypal uses, but both say “wrong address”. What can I do? GREAT APP by the way!
Hi Anissa, if you bought it in the Market, you don’t need a registration code. The code is needed only for Paypal donations. Start AlarmDroid and hit the menu button. You should see the “AlarmDroid Pro” menu item with a heart icon. And the ads should have been disappeared
Dear Fabian,
I would love to buy the Pro version on Market, however, I cannot choose my device (Samsung Galaxy S) from the drop-down list on the website. The pop-up message says “this item cannot be installed in your device’s country”. It also doesn’t show up in my phone’s built-in market.
I found some forums with this problem, so I guess this is just a heads-up for you. As soon as Google fixes the issue, I’ll be back to support your work.
One question: playlist alarm is not working – tried downloading tinyPlayer to make playlists, but AlarmDroid still won’t recognize it.
Do you recommend a player that makes playlists that are seen by AlarmDroid?

sehr gute Applikation! Ich glaube man könnte sie noch besser verkaufen, wenn es ein “Guten Morgen Licht” gäbe.
Also könnte z.B. die LED stufenweise den “Sonnenaufgang” simulieren, was in den kommen Wintermonaten bestimmt toll ist …

I am having issues in getting the Speaking Clock to say out a message I have typed. It will say the time but not the message. Also, in the Speaking Clock Interval ~ Is there any way to include a menu to get it to speak out the Time at an arranged time, preferably with a message? I don’t want to have this as an Alarm which you have to use the phone to turn it off nor have to go through the Alarm procedure just to get it to say a time and message. Thanks….
I am not getting my 5am alarm to sound anymore. It put the icon up in my notification area 9 hrs before but does not sound at 5am. What can I do to fix? I am on a HTC Thunderbolt device with Sense?
Also the phone docks landscape at night can the alarm window with the snooze rotate to landscape?

I tried to donate to you for AlarmDroid a while ago but could not because I did not have a PayPal account. I really like AlarmDroid Free and use it everyday. When AlarmDroid Pro because available on the Market I supported you and purchased it just a moment ago. Although it shows up as a downloaded app I cannot find it in my app list. AlarmDorid Free shows up but not AlarmDroid Pro. I see in your instructions you have to install AlarmDroid Pro but I cannot find it to install even it says it was downloaded. Please help.
